Assistant Professor of Theology

Dr. David Baird holds a BA in English literature from Wheaton College, IL, an MA in Theology and Philosophy from the University of Oxford, and an MLitt and PhD in Theology, Imagination, and the Arts from University of St. Andrews.

His research is situated at the intersection of theology and culture, with particular attention to story and film. Current projects examine the early writings of G.K. Chesterton, the theology of Holy Saturday, and the theological significance of postapocalyptic zombie fiction.
