Beginning Fall 2020, TWU students have the opportunity to take the Catholic Formation Track(CFT) as part of the TWU core curriculum, a formative track designed to expose students to the richness of the Catholic intellectual tradition.

Dr. Andrew Kaethler

Dr. Andrew Kaethler

Dr. Kaethler graduated from TWU with a Masters in Religion, Culture, and Ethics. After teaching in Lithuania for four years, he completed his PHd in Systematic Theology at St. Mary's College, University of St. Andrews, Scotland. In 2016 Dr. Kaethler was blessed to receive a response to a letter he sent to Pope Benedict Emeritus XVI. "If my theological work has been of some help to you," he wrote, "I praise the Lord."

Fr. David Bellusci

Father David Bellusci belongs to the Dominican Order founded by Saint Dominic in 1216. Father Bellusci obtained his canonical licentiate in theology and doctorate in philosophy at the Dominican University College in Ottawa. His research has focused on St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, and the Italian Renaissance/16th century Humanism. He has written a book of poetry titled Amor Dei in the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries.

Dr. David Baird

Dr. Baird completed his M.A. in Theology and Philosophy, University of Oxford, and his Ph.D in Divinity, University of St. Andrews. His research focuses on theology and culture, with particular interests in Christianity's intersections with story and film. His Ph.D thesis was titled The Theological Significance of Postapocalyptic Zombie Fiction.
