David Baird, Ph.D. cand.

David Baird grew up in a small town in rural Indiana before going off to the big city to study the liberal arts at Wheaton College, where he graduated in English literature.

Thereafter he attended the University of Oxford where he studied philosophy and theology and served as president of the C.S. Lewis Society, and then completed a second masters through the Institute for Theology, Imagination and the Arts at the University of St Andrews with a dissertation on the early writings of G.K. Chesterton.

He is currently assistant subject editor for the Journal of Inklings Studies and frequently writes film reviews for the online journal Thinking Faith while finishing up his doctoral thesis on the theological significance of post-apocalyptic zombie narratives.
